Right out of the box I am VERY happy with it. Yes it is REAL Damascus Steel. Smooth operation. My ONLY problem I see with the knife is the pocket clip. For a knife this size, its pretty light. Only uses one screw holding it in place. I’m a pretty active guy. I can see the pocket clip getting caught on various things and getting bent out of shape. I’d also rather the clip being on the side of the folding mechanism. (I dont like carrying a pocket knife point up). Iv been carrying this knife and Iv Received so many compliments on it. Thinking about buying a couple more and giving out his gifts. Would love it if her they would make it another one, with just a slightly shorter blade. Be more useful for every day carry. * 6 months later. Still really like the knife. Only complaint about it is the pocket clip. MUCH too lightweight. Pocket clip twists/rotates. Has damaged the handle a little. This knife needs a stronger clip, screws that pass all the way through the handle scales and into metal, perhaps a horizontal or a 3/4 horizontal sheath. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome looking knife is more of a slicer than a stabber. *by D***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2019* Cool knife but after taking delivery it seems more like a 40 or 50 dollar knife. It's a bit clunky to open but I may just need to develop a better technique for this style of folder. Also it's easy to see where a bit if length could be shaved off the handle making it more comfortable in the pocket.
