The leave-in makes my hair feel extremely slippery when detangling in the shower, but I noticed that the leave-in leaves a thick coating on my hair after I blow dry (the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5). I love the way it makes my hair look extremely silky after I flat iron it, but the coating is extremely hard to comb through. My work-around was to brush my hair instead (before combing through), which worked really well, but I did not like my hair to feel coated. When I stopped using the Boe Crecepelo leave-in I switched to lacio lacio leave-in which made my hair look and feel amazingly silky and soft after blowdrying and flat ironing (no sticky film), but it did not have the same slippery detangling & strengthening effect that Crecepelo leave-in had in the shower. I was torn between two great leave-ins.So I discovered the ultimate solution for my hair type (thick, coarse, porous). After deep conditioning with the Boe Tratamiento Fitioterapeutico conditioner, I use the the Crecepelo leave-in as a rinse (it is thicker and more slippery than the actual rinse) and it helps detangle and strengthen my hair. After I rinse out the Crecepelo leave-in (not supposed to, but oh well) I towel dry my detangled hair and comb through the lacio lacio leave-in before blow drying. The result is straight, silky, moisturized hair that has tons of body. Even though it is still full of volume, the volume makes it look dramatic and healthy, not puffy and wild. On a windy day it will somehow fall into place and still look fabulous. I do need to mention my hair is very curly and it brakes a lot, so in order for me to use this it can not be as a leave in. What I do is after my regular shampoo and conditioner I add a little very little amount of the leave-in and I am aware it say not to rinse it but I have to, because if I don’t my hair feels super extra oily and greasy! so I rinse it out and still helps my hair!
