It’s not perfect, but once I adjusted it a bit more it is working and relatively comfortable. As other reviews mentioned, this isn’t the best or most stable splint, and can slip side to side a bit in your palm. that’s less of a problem if you are splinting the whole finger. I only wanted to splint the MCP joint, where my index finger connects to the palm of my hand, and that’s a bit less stable in terms of splint positioning. I found a few ways to stabilize this brace that aren’t obvious in the instructions or tiny diagrams: Hidden feature: the brand label peels up and has Velcro underneath. That secures the wrapped strap so it can’t slide around. It also works better if you curve the wider end of the splint around the base of the finger and place the narrow end in the palm. (That's the opposite of what I assumed.) It keeps the splint aligned and hugs my finger much better. I ordered this splint because it would arrive sooner and was inexpensive. I was getting so annoyed with kinesthesia tape (especially the sticky residue it leaves on the skin), buddy taping my fingers, and the difficulty in washing my hands without re-taping! the removable splint is much easier, especially once you get it adjusted right. It just takes a little more patience.
