Mostly hype *by K***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2019* After waiting a watching for years on this product, I was excited to finally order a 4th Gen product. Unfortunately it is all hype, and a $100 NCStar would have been a better buy. The resolution claims to be HD, but the image is extremely pixilated, and at maximum zoom, it's so pixalated as to be unusable. Battery life is only about 2 hours. Range finding mode would require you to know the measurement of your target. I would not recommend this sight to anyone, and regret my purchase immensely. Now I will need to buy a new optical scope to replace this over hyped failure. The videos they show are all fake, the image is nothing like they portray it to be. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT SIGHT! *by R***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2019* I AM NEW TO THE NIGHT VISION WORLD AND DIDNT WANT TO SPEND A MORTGAGE PAYMENT ON A SIGHT. AFTER HOURS OF RESEARCH, I LANDED ON THE XSGHT II. IT IS CONSTRUCTED OF HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS AND THE IMAGING IS CLEAR AND CRISP. PLUS IT COMES WITH A BOATLOAD OF FEATURES! I AM IN LOVE WITH IT AFTER SEVERAL HOURS USE. THERE ARE A FEW THINGS THAT COULD BE IMPROVED. 1. THE XSIGHT DRINKS BATTERIES. IM GETTING 2-3 HRS ON JUST THE 4 AA BATTERIES REQUIRED. ABSOLUTLY USE LITHIUM. I TRIED ALKALINE FOR A TEST AND GOT AN HOUR. KENTLI MAKES A RECHARGEABLE AA THAT IS REVIEWS SAY GET 6-8 HRS. I HAVE A SET ON THE WAY TO TRY. IT ALOS HAS A MICRO USB SLOT THAT ACCEPTS A EXTERNAL POWER BANK. I HAVE PUCHASED TWO AND JUST FIXED THEM TO MY RIFLE WITH A VELCRO STRAP. I GET ABOU 6 HRS OUT OF EACH POWER PACK. 2. THERE IS 1 COVER THAT PROTECTS THE SD SLOT, HDMI AND MICR USB. WHEN USING THE EXTERNAL BATTERY I HAVE TO REMOVE THE COVER, LEAVING TO OTHER TWO SLOTS OPEN TO THE ELEMENTS. YOU CAN PURCHASE WATERPROOF MINI SD CARDS (I DID) BUT IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A RUBBER SEAL THAT FIT INTO EACH PORT TO HELP KEEP DEBRIS OUT. 3. IT IS A DIGITAL ZOOM. THIS IS NOT A HUGE PROBLEM BUT SOMETHING TO CONSIDER. JUST LIKE YOUR CELL PHONE, THE IMAGE DOES BECOME SLIGHTLY GRAINY WHEN ZOOMED IN AT OR NEAR MAX. ITS NOT ENOUGH TO AFFECT YOUR SHOT BUT DOES TAKE A SPLIT SECOND FOR EYES TO ADJUST. OVERALL THIS IS AN AWESOME SIGHT AND WOULD BUY AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Takes a bit of study but impressive *by G***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2020* Just starting out with this, and it will take a lot of study to learn all its many functions, but so far, I'm quite pleased. Much better than the old Gen I night vision. Not greentone, but rather a muted color screen. Certainly not military grade, but not $10,000 either. It will suit my purposes admirably, which is pretty much predator control.......of all types.
