As soon as I had them out of the box I kind of knew that that they were going to be too small. I immediately compared them to my Karrimor Bodmins (themselves borderline too small) and could see that the widest part of the sole was far smaller. In addition, the tongue was very short and there was a half-inch gap between the tongue and the side of the shoes where I could admire my white socks; unfortunately, this didn't help to take my mind off the fact that I could hardly do the laces up. Honestly, you'd think a size 8 was a size 8, but the variance in shoe/boot sizes is staggering. I don't have weird club feet or thick ankles, either. The construction was very lightweight and the sole was so thin that I could feel the edge of my rug against the carpet underneath; I wouldn't envisage these being suited to any sort of hiking over surfaces rougher than the supermarket car park.In conclusion, overall very poor quality and too small. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by D***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 May 2018* EXCELLENT QUALITY HIKING SHOES COMFORTABLE WEARING. LIGHT CUSHIONED HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ANY HIKER THAT WANTS COMFORT WHILST OUT WALKING. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good service *by M***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 April 2019* I read other reviews and as I wanted a cheap pair of boots I gave these a go. Well considering the cost they are not too bad. Ok the tongue is a little short but it's not an issue, soles could be a bit thicker but for daily dog walking they are better than I expected.
