**Q: is this eye drops**
A: Yes, the MURO 128 Solution are eye drops. They also have a MURO 128 Ointment. I use both for edema of the cornea. 
I might note that both are relatively expensive. 
Although they are both non-prescription products I would not recommend using if not directed to do so by your eye Dr.

**Q: What is the expiration date on this particular batch?**
A: Lynn. The expiration date is on the bottom of the box. The box I have says 06/22. Great price from Amazon. I usually pay $29.00 at Walgreens

**Q: Would this be good for wearing with soft contacts?**
A: This is a "salt water" solution! It burns like hell for 10-15 seconds, but someone named "Razorblade" may love it. Have you searched B&L website & web in general to see how others use this. My eye doctor prescribed this to treat my hereditary eye issue.

**Q: Is this preservative free?**
A: There are no indications on the bottle that it is preservative free. It only says: Sterile, for use in the eyes only. Although it was prescribed (advised) by my Eye Dr., it is actually an OITC product. If you want a Preservative Free eye drop,  please ask your eye Dr. for such (if there is one). Good luck and take care of your eyes.

Seems to work well except I wish it came with an eye dropper. With old weak fingers, I find it hard to squeeze, as with all the eye, ear, nose etc. drops.
