So, for me to be writing this means one thing...this product has changed my life. I have been fighting with my acne-proned face for the past 10 years and this by far has helped more than all the other stuff, whether it was prescribed, bought over-the-counter or an assortment of natural home remedies. Of course, this is is relating to my skin and may not work for every single person, but the fact that it is so inexpensive and lasts forever (bought in January and am no where near close to finishing it), goes to show that it is at least worth trying. For me the first month my face was sensitive to it and left it a bit red after use, which the seller warns may happen. But for me, I just took as a little more natural rouge to the cheeks. As well, it can leave your face dry, which can be a pro and con for people like me that have more naturally oily skin. My solution at this point is actually aloe. This helps to heal, as well works as a natural astringent, so it closes the pores. So, my regime is remove makeup, if necessary, (I just use a gentle foaming face wash), then wash with the African Black Soap (be advised it has some exfoliating factors, so don't put bar of soap directly to face), dry face, apply aloe and finally apply favorite moisturizer (during bedtime wash, I don't put moisturizer on, so to let my face breath). As I said, I have been using this since January and since then my face is not perfect, but within two months, it has helped clear up about 90% of my acne. As well, when I do get acne, it helps to heal it much faster than it was before. Of course this is only my experience, but I felt it worth sharing, because it did actually help me. I have hormonal acne combined with oily skin and a full face of makeup everyday my skin has become a nightmare for the first time in my life and I have tried EVERYTHING without any results until this. I wash my face in the morning and at night and my skin is clearing up within the first week. First of all I haven't had anymore breakouts since starting this soap and secondly the red marks on my cheeks from the previous breakouts are already diminishing. This is the best and only product I will use to wash my face from now on. Some of the reviews say it drys out your skin but like I said my oily skin needs to be dryed out, so I've had no issues with that. This soap legitimately cleans your skin better than anything I've ever used! Washes off makeup easily even waterproof mascara. Also I haven't had any issues with sharp objects in my soap, pebbles or otherwise. I literally have no complaints I love this stuff!ALSO my 23 month old daughter has severely itchy skin due to eczema and I've used this on her body during bath time and so far the scratching and irritation has gone way down! She has dry skin so I do have to moisturize her afterwards. And lastly I read previous complaints about this products burning your skin.. It hasn't burned mine or my toddler daughter whatsoever the only way I could see that happening is if you just leave it on your skin for a long period of time. I wash it off pretty quickly I put enough on the clean my face and then rinse.Like other reviews I've used this as a shampoo on my daughter and myself and it does lather just like shampoo it's does clean your hair like no product I've ever used! I use homemade soap exclusively, so this stuff doesn't seem all that special to me. If you haven't, though, or haven't very often, prepare to have your mind blown. This soap has a surprisingly good lather for a natural product, you can use it anywhere from head to toe, it's great for sensitive skin, it's not terribly drying and leaves your face nice and soft. It has a gentle soap smell also, though when I first unwrapped it it smelled terrible. There are some hard bits and pieces in the soap (small bits of the burned wood and such), but it's not difficult to be careful of them or to take them out.I was also very impressed by Incredible By Nature's service.
