Does the bottom bend towards the front of the show where the toes are when walking?** A: The shoe itself does not bend thus providing stabilzation which is what I needed. Instead it rocks, heel to toe, so it feels like you are wearing a real shoe when walking. **Q: Can the boot liner be washed?** A: There is not a removable liner. I suppose the entire boot could be hand washed. **Q: Is the inner sole padded? I expect the outer sole to be still. I am hoping that the inside is padded to protect the bottom of my foot. Thanks** A: I'm sorry I am out of town but if I remember right the inner sole was hard but very protective for the surgery I had done. It was padded but not soft & cushiony. It gets the job done. I do remember that I wish I had ordered 2 of them to wear because walking uneven hurt my back. I will be glad to help you out if You have any other questions if I can. **Q: There are so many comments on sizing of these shoes. I'm usually 6 1/2, but need toe width more. If small fits women's 6 1/2-8, will they be too big?** A: No! I wear a 7 shoe and these fit me perfect. You can adjust the straps to fit for width at the toe and the nice thing is that the toe bed is wide and gives extra protection for the toes. I don't want to tell you how many times I have bumped the toe bed against stairs and other objects that would have been painful if not for the little bit of extra room for my healing toes and foot. I highly recommend this post op shoe. It provides good space to protect my toes, I did not want them too close to the edge of the pad. Since it has a square toe, it keeps all toes on the pad, verses hanging over the edge.
