Maybe I just got a bad pair. I measured exactly and fell into 2 sizes so I went with the larger size like the chart said to. If I had went smaller I wouldn’t have been able to pull them over my heel. The stockings pull up to my underwear and after about an hour are down to my knees. I am constantly having to pull them up which is difficult to do with pants on. The compression is great up to just below my knees but is severely lacking beyond that which almost defeats the purpose. Like tying a rope and cutting off the circulation. Which is why I didn’t go with knee highs. I thought the toeless feature would be good but they eventually slide towards my heel and bunch up under my foot with shoes on. I am 9 months pregnant and my feet and ankles are so swollen, my skin felt like it was about to bust. I tried a couple other compression garments before ordering these, but I have thick thighs, relative to my calves, so anything that compressed the bottom part of my legs was too small to fit my thighs. They also tended to slip and roll down over time. Not only do these fit in each part of my leg, they stay up all day! They aren't the easiest to get on, but they aren't supposed to be, or they wouldn't be support wear... If I can put them on, this late in pregnancy, anyone can. I have long legs but did not need the extra length of the XL. I am 5'7 and L fits very well. They stay up and the band around the thigh doesn't roll down. That is a huge improvement over several others that I tried and was "professionally" fitted .
