It works great in warm water. The center mass is like 1.5mm wet suit material, while the arms are a real thin nylon material. So it is not to hot, but offers a layer of protection from jelly's and the sun, while extremely comfortable. Could also use as a top half for surfing in the late spring or early fall. The extra foam in the center adds extra protection for pulling back your spear gun too. Well made and stitched. I would recommend to any water-man or woman. I'm 5:11 and stocky from working out all the time, and the Large fit me great.
