Seeing the prices for a larger throw I decided to try myself. I'm not a crafty person. I remade this blanket 4 times making it tighter each time. Make sure you work on a very clean surface as it tends to pick up anything. I definitely picked the wrong color as you can visibly see the lint and hair this material picks up. I used all 8 lbs for this blanket. It's heavy and warm but I am afraid it will snag or rip over time. That's why each time I made it tighter. My mom loved it and she said she uses it regularly. I didn't give a 5 start rating bc I've never used this material before. I'm not actually sure what it's supposed to feel like. I just know I was happy with my purchase and would purchase from them again.
