Something that held up better then your standard shower caps. I have long curly hair the length up to my rear end and this cap definitely keeps it all in. It nice and tightwhere u won't worry about it slipping forwards or back with movement but not too tight where it feels like it's putting pressure into your head it doesn't leave those ugly too tight markings. Only thing I was happy about is that the stitching of the cap too the elastic was not tight. The threading was a bit loose so that right there does not provide a water proof seal like it advertised. So my hair does get wet around my temples and ears even though the hat is over my ears when I'm cleaning my face but still over all happy with the product. Just wish that stitching was reinforced with double stitching and tighter. I'm almost afraid to try to wash it in the washer because of that stitching.
