All products shipped from USA Amazon stock. Due to COVID-19, part of stock was affected seriously. **Q: Can I throw it in the dishwasher to clean & sterlize it?** A: Place on top shelf of dishwasher and do not heat dry. You know the drill save energy and air dry. The special soap/detergents used in your dishwashers should sterlize this silicone item without the added high heated dry cycle. Now that's just my educated opinion. If you really want to insure it's sterilized make sterile agar plates up and test for organisms. Of course you need to know how to do that properly to insure no contamination other than the product being tested properly. I'm of course being a bit nerdy here. More tongue in cheek. Even though many silicone products accept high heat unless it's rated for high heat some definitely do not take it or break down quicker if exposed to it. So I never use sterlize high heat or heat dry cycle on my dishwasher except when sterilizing glass jars or bottles for canning season and beer making sometimes wine making. I am not sure why you need to sterilize it though because soap for bathing and cleaning products for the shower might do just as well. I love Motive's daily shower spray myself. And to keep hard water from developing on my tooth brushes I spray with reall listerine mouth wash which can stain but doesn't seem to and if it does a quick soak in strong bleach solution solves that. Anyway this is just my thoughts on this question it's always up to using common sense. **Q: How often should i replace ?** A: You wouldn’t need to replace unless you choose too. I was super disappointed. It’s so soft it’s pretty useless as the handle is so short and the scrubby parts don’t scrub. Update: sellers reached out to me offering a full refund which I thought was very good customer service. I would have taken them up on it. If I had not found a good use for it.My dog loves it, and it takes all the hair off of her and at bathtime she wiggles happily while I scrub her. The long handle helps me not have to bend so far down. She even loves it just for back scratches.
