What I found that was an issue is that the connector on one has started to short out with extensive use. I take this cord with me everywhere I go. For work this, the length of cord works very well in going to the floor, around my desk, and to my phone. I can even use it comfortably while plugged in. The 2nd cord that I gave to my wife for her use still is perfect. She keeps her plugged in at home and only uses it at night. I think this would be better if I bought some kind of reinforcement for the next of the cord to the connector. I've seen those coord reinforcements on amazon and on the wish app for cheap. Otherwise this is a solid choice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ well built, super long, braided, MFI certified lighting to USB cable for heavy use situations., *by S***T on Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2015* A very well built lighting to USB cable. I purchased these for use on stage when powering my iPads to use as music readers. I had gone thru plenty 10 foot cheaply cables that were not MFI certified and were trashed quickly due to either the dreaded incompatibility issue or simply being cheaply built and falling apart after even limited use. The braided covering on these cables makes a big difference in helping to prevent breaks, plus, the point of connection between the cable and the terminators is solid (I've had a lot of cables break at the point where the cable meets the jack). Cables should always be treated with care, but. these do allow for some forgiveness where the lesser quality cables seem to fall apart if you look at them wrong. Great length, cable feels good in the hand, I expect it will be around for a while and is MFI certified. In the long run, the bit of a premium for the better build will easily be made up si only by not replacing the junk I had in the past ### ⭐⭐ Not That Impressed *by H***D on Reviewed in the United States on June 17, 2016* One of the cords broke about a month after I purchased it. I picked my phone up off the ground by the part of the cord just outside of the charging port and the lightning end simply bent and broke right off in the charging port of my phone. I was able to remove it, but the cord was worthless after that. The second cord I have seems to have developed some severe kinking near the lightning end that I can't seem to work out. It's almost coiled around itself 2 times and very stiff at that end of the cord now. My phone has also started occasionally giving me a message saying that the charging device is not supported by Apple. This isn't every time I plug it in, but often enough to be a nuisance.
