Relieves pain and heals!! - It works!! I don't know why but I see some bad reviews and I think people either don't know how to use them or are using them wrong. These really are a lifesaver and make it heal a lot faster. I noticed if I put it on the area of my lip and there's not an overproduction of saliva and I hold it on there for like 1 minute long enough for it to attach to the skin, it stays on for a while. If it gets wet first it won't stick. You can even dry it with a cotton ball first. These are the only things that have helped relieve pain and heal it faster at the same time. I do recommend only using half if it's not real big because you get twice as much uses out of it and that way if it doesn't stick then you can try with the other half. These do not stick to gums and I think the closest to your gums the harder it is because of the amount of saliva that sits in your mouth in that area. But like I said hold it on long enough until you know it's attached and you should be good! Also, if you are constantly messing with it in your mouth it won't last as long because you will wear down the gel on the tablet. If you can get it to work properly it's 100% worth it and don't give up. If it doesn't work the first couple of times keep trying. I noticed another review also said that there was no phone number to get a hold of the company but my package came with a card with an email and phone number for dentemp on it. This Dentemp Canker Cover works nearly identically to DenTak Canker Cover, and beats anything else out there now; since the DenTek version is no longer available. BUY THESE!!! **Q: Will this work on sores on the tongue?** A: Since purchasing this product, I have had two sores on my tongue. One was on the side of my tongue and one was on the tip. Out of 5 applications, I only had a cover fall off once, and that was for the sore on the side of my tongue. I do have to warn though that while it provides amazing relief and protection against irritating food, you will have a large jelly lump stuck to your tongue. For me it was worth it though. **Q: What’s the best way to apply to get it to stick correctly ? Dry the area as much as possible first, or leave the sore moist?** A: For me I had to dry the area with a Kleenex first so it would stick. **Q: Does it numb the canker sore?** A: Not like Orajel. DO NOT BUY IT! *by G***. on September 7, 2026* Worst product I've ever used in my life. I followed the instructions perfectly, and the pill stuck to a huge canker sore in my lower lip.... AND IT HURT WORSE THAN BEFORE. The pill is ABSOLUTELY HUGE and if you talk, the gell blob will move around and irritate the sore. It also had zero relief whatsoever; I could feel some cooling menthol.... didn't do a damn thing. It was literally more painful than when I had nothing on it. It does NOTHING for pain relief. And if you opt to remove it, even by rinsing for 2 minutes in warm or salt water, it will not come off.
