**Q: does this fit on a 9 year old?**
A: It fit my 11 year old son so 9 year old should be fine. I just wished the hat circumference was wider but it was good enough for school project. :)

**Q: Is it cheap plastic?**
A: The whole helmet is very cheaply made. I bought this for my great nephew as part of his Halloween costume, however, he was not able to wear it because it was so uncomfortable. Don’t waste your money!

**Q: can you remove the strap**
A: Yes, the strap comes off easily. My toddler didn’t want the strap so we took it off.

**Q: How many helmets do your get for $12.60?**
A: One and it’s a waste of money. Cheap plastic with a very cheap net that is just thrown on it. Horrible.

The plastic is on the thinner side. More for wear and light play. The net is not attached in the best way. My son receievd this for Christmas, and less than a month later, the netting has torn away. No padding inside. The chin strap is not as pictured. The one I received looks better. It seems to be attached better than the netting. He doesn't use it, so I can't speak on it's durability much.
