Review: Like those before me this is a good product but ... - Like those before me this is a good product but it would have been nice to have had some instructions there is an L bracket that needs to be installed and without instructions you just have to engineer the install and assume you know where it is suppose to be placed, there is some hole drilling and shimming to install this bracket so preplanning is crucial. Also the heads of the bolts on the ladder brackets hit the ladder tubing when folded causing marring of the stainless tubing.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it come with the hardware to install?**
A: Yes, although the hardware was minimal. I had to get a few longer stainless bolts to get through the transom and also added some stainless fender washers for peace of mind. Generally an easy installation and good product though.

**Q: Whats the distance from platform mount and top mount**
A: The brackets and platform need to be exactly as ordered. The ladder could be changed to a 1 rung ladder.Walter

**Q: With the platform being 18" wide does the bracket go the full 18". I only have @ 15" accessible for a through bolts and backer panel**
A: I don't think it will work. There is a brace at each end of the platform. They should have a through transom nut and bolt.

The platform looks solid enough. I think it will work. As with previous buyers the problem is, no installation instructions. It's not rocket science but, for example, I don't know if a small bracket under the platform should go all the way to one side or a few inches in. Should I use lag bolts or nuts and bolts to go through the hull. ( not supplied ). How complicated can it be to provide instructions? Probably comes from China.
