Maybe in cold temperatures it would take more priming. The only downside is this thing has no feet or stabilizing fixtures so you can knock it over inside the bell especially when adjusting the airflow screw (which I didn't have to mess with too much for a perfect burn). There has to be a way to wire it into place or somehow stabilize it. I really want to try a stir fry with this monster but not until I find a way to secure the new burner, as it would be easy to knock over with that aggressive style of cooking.
