The thickening 2-in-1 does make my hair look and feel thicker. But a bit to "fluffy" when it dries. It lathers up well and I'm in and out of the shower quickly.The "pomade" (it's more of a paste or cream) is a nice matte but lacks a real hold. It keeps shape but my hair falls flat by mid day. I can style with it but I wouldn't want to buy it again.
