The pins for this are well engineered, and make is a snap to install onto a watch. So 5 stars all the way with this product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ NOT Top grain leather, but still a decent strap. *by on Reviewed in the United States November 3, 2023* I purchased the brown/silver colorway for $20 in October 2023. It arrives in a basic ziploc bag with just the strap and no tools. While these straps can be installed without tools using the quick release spring bars, I still think it would have been nice if Ritche included a spring bar tool, since you might need one to take your original straps off.My biggest problem with this strap is that it is NOT top grain leather as advertised in the description of the item. If you look at my pictures you can see that it is clearly stamped with "genuine leather" on the back of the strap. Their product photos don't show the genuine leather label either. I've removed one star for false advertising which is never appreciated.For those unfamiliar, "genuine leather" is the lowest quality of leather on the market, with "top grain" sitting one grade higher and "full grain" being the highest quality. I would not have purchased this strap if I had known it was only genuine, seeing as the equivalent Barton only costs $8 more.Still, I'm going to rate the product 4 stars because it seems decently well built and feels like it would last about as long as you'd expect a $20 leather strap to last. The hardware is made of all stainless steel and seem sturdy enough. The buckle is unsigned which I appreciate as well. And installation is a breeze with the quick release spring bars.Out of the box, it is a very light colored strap which is what I wanted. The color deepened a bit after I applied some conditioner, but still appears quite anemic as you can see compared to the Barton which is almost the exact same strap. Still, I don't mind it and I think the gingerbread look will go well with some watch dials. It wears comfortably on the wrist.Honestly I would recommend that you spend a few dollars more and go for the Barton. Between the deeper, richer color and the higher quality materials I think it would be worth it.
