**Q: My old battery requires a 2.2ah battery but these are difficult to find. would this item be suitable? my alarm is texecom veritas r8. thanks**
A: My old one was a 2.2ah battery. I believe that it's the storage capacity that has slightly increased but the output is still 12v. Just make sure that your old battery is 12v. It's been fine in my alarm system for a few weeks.
