I only saw positive reviews for this line so I took my chances with the Bymore brand. They seem to be high quality with no bad odor. They feel good on bare skin and do stay in place. Three levels of resistance and stretch although they are all the same length. Yes, they can be used for leg and hip exercises...not just for squats like some of the brands.
