Unfortunately this product is essentially Vaseline, a petroleum based product resistant to water, which means it does not wash out easy without shampoo. For someone like myself with thick hair and who does not like using shampoo every day (due to the drying effect), this product was not what I was looking for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tames my flyaway hair *by E***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 March 2021* I have got long, straight, fine, flyaway hair. I use this every day. The lightly rub my fingers over it n rub fingers together and smooth my hands over my hair. It sits the greys down and leaves a shine. When I've just washed my hair and dried it, I can use this so that I can control my hair enough and grip it to put it up and it stays there instead of sliding out of my clips. I only wash my hair every 4 days or so and still use this every time I do my hair. It doesn't build up as I don't use a lot. I have shoulder length hair with long layers that kicks out at the ends and she uses this to separate my hair. The smell is gorgeous and it's very reasonable when compared to some of the other "brands" that do the same job. I went a little heavy handed recently as I was getting used to my new longer hair so my hair looked greasy and it didn't sit well at all. I would say less is more and definitely I needed to warm it up in my hands before using.
