Which (finally) brings me to this power cord. I recently took delivery of a Linn Magik LP12 turntable with the Koil cart and Lingo 4 power supply. Out of the box (and after my dealer set it up) this is a fantastic turntable, truly world class (as it should be for the price) and after a few months thought about upgrading the power cord. After all, it worked with the Rogue... This AudioCrast shielded cable worked very well. To be sure the difference is subtle, but it's there. Better bass definition, more focused midrange, not so much difference on the top end, but absolutely worth the very modest price. Bottom line - do power cables make a difference? Yes, they do, but only if you have components that can utilize that difference,. The first thing I noticed the power light on my towers was brighter. As soon as the movie started I noticed their was a very!! big difference in the sound.
