I wanted to plug those holes and started by using ordinary electrical tape. Some of those patches failed a bit because water was squirting out the tape ends. I bought Rescue Tape thinking it would be better. I applied it to many holes in the soaker hose. It is much stronger and stretchier than electrical tape. I could see how the stretch would increase the tension when the hose was under pressure. When the hoses were completely dry, I stretched the tape as far as I could and overlapped the tape onto itself and inches further than the hole. The instructions don't have any wait time for bonding to occur but I waited 90 minutes before I turned the water on to check.Almost all of the taped areas failed. The tape on the ends was hanging off when it should have bonded to itself. I easily unwound the tape which is not supposed to happen. My ordinary electrical tape had a better success rate than Rescue Tape. I still can hardly believe it. ### ⭐ she turned on the waterhose and it was like a giezer shot out *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2018* Well,what can I say....I honestly shouldve invested the money into buying a new waterhose,this tape sealed nothing. Followed exactly what the directions told me. Still there was leaks and mini bubbles filled with water.,so I even wrapped it more than the instructions said. I then waited overnight thinking it needed time to seal. Went out with my mom to help her in her garden,she turned on the waterhose and it was like a giezer shot out. It leaks more than it orginally did! Added photos below to see leakage. Again next time I wont be so lazy and just invest in a good waterhose that will last. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5" PVC adapter that connects to the flex hose that carries the waste to the black tank dump valve *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2017* We have a motorhome that has 2 bathrooms. The smaller bathroom has a macerator pump for the black tank. Where the macerator pump is, there is a 1.5" PVC adapter that connects to the flex hose that carries the waste to the black tank dump valve. That PVC adapter developed a small 1" in length crack on the underside and when I went to empty that black tank and turned on the macerator pump it would leak liquid waste right under the pump which is in one of my storage bays. YUK. So to fix this, I squeezed in some thermoplastic material "NuFlex 640" into the PVC crack and then wrapped it thoroughly with this Rescue tape back & forth along the whole adapter. The next time I used the pump NO leaking.
