Excellent Quality Build . *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2020* The best I can describe the felt is it's as soft as a cotton sock but not so floppy. This became my instant beater hat because it feels well used and broken in even though brand new. It's lighter weight than my other wool fedoras ,though the same thickness , so another reason why it became an instant hit . Add in the comfortable inner band and it's a real winner for my head .If you notice the stitch in the photo kinda stands out because it pinches the band but again, this is a beater hat for me so no biggie. The other photo shows how easy it was to pop a couple of feathers in the band because though it's stitched in a few places but not sewn totally or glued, just a few stitches and also the slight out of shape in the back it was from the box though it is shaping itself back more as I wear it longer . 10 seconds and I can change out my feather(s) choice is a real hoot . Once I get past my feather fetish I'll go back to plain and it'll look just as good . The photo with the feather is the true color of the black, the other photo was in extra bright light to highlight the stitch is why it looks more gray .Though a smidge snug from the box it has stretched enough already to where I won't call it too small. The band will not stretch as much as the felt will so I'd suggest order a size up if you're borderline. I normally wear a 7 3/8 and the large is supposed to be up to 7 1/2 but it's more a 7 1/4 from the box .I really like the feel of this hat, the quality seems to be well done as all the stitching is accurate and there were no loose strings hanging anywhere.It's not what I'd call a wide band fedora nor a short brim, a true tweener that could be just as stylish whether dressed up or dressed down .For the price I feel like I got a very very good value and deal . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 100% real wool 1950's Fedora. Has a nice shape, "Not to" cowboy looking.Color is just right for navy blue. Many compliments all ready, and where did i purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This hat has a smaller brim, that is what I wanted *by E***0 on Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2020* This is called a Hornburg, that is the style not the name, I put one of the included hat sizers in the front under the lining and it fit like it was custom made, if you receive the feathers they are in a little black packet, you will throw them away if your not careful. BTW IF YOU WEAR COWBOY BOOTS, and they are just a little too large, this is what I did...I only needed one sizer for my hat, SO I CUT THE OTHER ONE IN HALF, and placed in my boots right wear the bottom meets the back, I cant believe it, but it works, those boots fit like a glove now.
