Very flimsy materials

Honestly this was a way better deal than I expected. Easy to put together and so far it seems fairly sturdy. I bought 400 lbs of sand (8 fifty pound bags) but I only had to use 5 of them which filled the box about 3/4 of the way. My daughter loves it!!!

3 year old loves it!! ... easy assembly, took about 1hr with two ppl... holds 400 lbs of sand. I use 8 50lbs bags and it is filled to the brim... could definitely use less.. wood is soft so I worry about durability... also the bottom pieces fit together loosely so its not solid but with sand in it its not going anywhere... thought it was going to be bigger, two kids will definitely be tight..

Love this however, the wood that holds the canopy up has split and cracked completely.Wood used is too thin and flimsy.Would not recommend.Great idea, poor execution.

Extremely clever design: The canopy slides down to form a cover when not in use. It is cat-proof as tested by our family pets! Appearance is pleasing. This is a GREAT sandbox. Assembly is best done with two adults. There are LOTS of parts, but everything is very clearly labeled and the instructions (all as diagrams) are clear and easy to follow.

The media could not be loaded. My pups love this thing! Its also kept then from digging in my yard and floor beds! used 8 bags of sandUpdate: video, held up throughout the winter and the girls still use it often. No complaints, still very happy with this purchase!

We live in northern Nebraska. We live rural which means we don’t live in a suburban neighborhood. When the wind gets to blowing, the top lifts allowing animals into the sand. We’ve had the sides break so the topper isn’t easily slid up and down. We got zip ties, rubber bands, wood glue, etc. it won’t stay together. My 2yr old grandson has managed to unscrew the the bottom anchors too. It’s cute, but I personally think it needs some detail work. It’s cheap because you get what you pay for.

My two little kids spend hours in this sandbox. It’s small enough for our porch area but big enough to get some good playing in. Just wish the sides were a bit higher so that it’d be more difficult for the sand to fall out.
