As the machine I bought was SERIOUSLY faulty it ought to have been returned, but I had not noted who it came from so could not fill in the guarantee forms. I am deaf do not want to upset the neighbours at night time** A: It runs quietly, does not beep at end of programme. There is a digital display of time remaining which is very useful. The control panel is on the bottom, so lends itself better to being on countertop rather than in a cupboard. Takes a good quantity of items at once, even my biggest dinner plates with no trouble.
