Is this the original "Kenzo" perfume by Kenzo? No. Is this the original formulation of Kenzo Parfum d'Ete, (also known as "Summer") which was first released in 1992? No, it isn't. That originally came in a heavy, frosted glass bottle with light blue packaging. That old formulation hasn't been sold commercially for over 15 years, and longer than that in the U.S. Kenzo reformulated Parfum d'Ete in the early 2002. This is the reformulation, which is also known as "Summer" by Kenzo. You may still be able to find the original 1992 formulation on Ebay -- Kenzo continued to sell it in the French and Japanese markets for a while after it was discontinued in the U.S. The newer formulation is similar, in most ways -- green and white floral at the top, heavier floral in the middle, and woodsy at the bottom, but it's not exactly the same.
