The first one said wash with mild soap and install wet, then the seat bottom will stretch more easily. I ordered Navy blue and got purple and purple isn't even listed. **Q: Do these have the wooden rod that slides into the chair or is it a flat wooden stick that slides in?** A: They use a wooden rod. **Q: how wide are both pieces? My chair needs 19" seat by 20.75" back.** A: Yes it would fit your chair. It also came with the round rods which slide down the grooves for the seat. I did buy some other covers some time ago and they were way too big and came with flat rods which were OK but obviously not the correct type but these were a perfect fit.
