The product had dust inside the phone port. I placed used batteries to see if it would work, it didn't play, so I thought maybe if I get new batteries they should work. Purchased new batteries, exchanged them with the used ones, and they didn't work. The turn on buttons doesn't work, the toy is not sturdy at all. HORRIBLE PURCHASE. From letting your little one sing, to the music that is programmed in (some nursery rhymes) to plugging in your mp3 player, ipod and letting them sing to tunes from the pop chart. The colourful lights are great on the stand and flash along with the music, you can see it is a glittery stand when the lights are off. The battery size is AA and you need 3 which is not supplied.I knocked a star off because even though it is lovely for the money, if it gets knocked over the batterys seem to come loose even though the back is on tightly and you have to keep opening the back to push them in, why they come loose or how is a mystery.
