Review: From contemporary to period in a brushstroke! - Great paint , covers well , bought plum colour and it’s changed my contemporary wardrobes to a period look - so really pleased . Only gripe is the long delivery period especially as I’ve needed another tin !!! Update my second tin came 4 days earlier !! So well done seller - clearly you take notice of your customers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: Beautiful colour and finish - I used the colour Dark Magic on my fire surround. I highly recommend this paint. I have used other chalk paints and thought I was happy with the finish until I tried this. It has a lovely finish which makes it look very expensive. It is also an unusual colour. I didn't want a pure black colour, so this is perfect. It changes colour according to the light. It ranges from having a brown tinge to looking slighting aubergine. I have quite a lot left, so I think I'm going to paint the tiles on the fireplace too. ## Features - Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. - May cause an allergic skin reaction. - Warning! Only gripe is the long delivery period especially as I’ve needed another tin !!! Update my second tin came 4 days earlier !! So well done seller - clearly you take notice of your customers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful colour and finish *by C***A on 13 June 2026* I used the colour Dark Magic on my fire surround. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love, love, love *by L***S on 18 January 2025* The colour but reason I gave 4 stars is that they recommended using the wax to finish off but this didn't seal the product despite saying that no primer was required. Paint easily got scratched and chipped. Don't like spray varnish (it just goes everywhere!) so purchased another brand's matt varnish that wasn't matt at all and changed the look of the colour so kinda feel that it was a bit of a waste... but if you can find the right finish for this it's super lovely! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/203505289-paintpeople-chalky-furniture-paint-750ml-natural-charcoal](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/203505289-paintpeople-chalky-furniture-paint-750ml-natural-charcoal) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
