But...May not be of use on power outage? *by A***S on 3 March 2021* It’s pretty, especially at night with its blue light, except my cats haven’t drank from it yet. They have just moved home so it may be the reason... It’s easy to assemble, will be easy to clean, and it’s not too loud (the room has a boiler in it so I can’t hear the fountain at all. The plastic is slightly thinner than I imagined, but sturdy enough. The only worry is that the steel dish doesn’t hold water, so I’m concerned about power cuts. The cats won’t have access because the only place they can drink are the little streams from the plastic flower, or the bubbling water in the hole in the middle if the flower is removed. It would be useful to either redesign or supply backup batteries that would make it run for a day or two even on power outage.
