I took to wearing socks but then I began having problems with cracked dry heals. (seems the socks absorb all the moisture out of your feet) In order to solve this problem I chose the Halfsox Sling-back. These socks kept my toes warm but allowed me to moisturize my dry heals and not dry out at night. I also have swollen feet often and was worried they might not fit or be too tight but they fit fine, and with the sling-back feature they did not come off at night when I tossed and turned in bed. I love the pink color too.
