Fantastic for giving a new perspective. Even if you know about the essentials of chord construction, this makes them more practical for rhythm and lead playing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ For intermediate to advanced players

This book is well written and contains a multitude of guitar chords and jazz chord sequences. However, as a beginner to the guitar, I find some of the chord voicings totally impossible to finger, and a background knowledge of music theory would be useful. Some six string chord shapes in this book contain one or two middle strings that should not be played, so how do you strum the chord. In my view this book is not for the beginner, more for the intermediate or advanced player.
