I have them in various places around the house and they hold my, fully loaded, SIG 229 and Kimber 1911 without and movement. I even tested my fully loaded AR15 which they held but had a slight slip at first, I had to change the angle and location of the rifle on the magnet. I dont use it for the AR but wanted to test the magnetic quality.
