Review: Works just like the original good value - I bought this as a replacement for our Dyson Pure Cool, and it fit perfectly. Installing it was simple and straightforward. Once fitted, I noticed straight away the airflow felt fresher, and the fan was working just as it should again. No strange smells or anything off just clean air. It’s a more affordable alternative to the Dyson-branded filters, but it still does a great job. We’ve got pets and small kids, so having decent filtration is important in our house, and this one holds up well.
Review: Bring a hammer - Chose these because the plastic on the white filter matched the colour of the originals (and of course the cheaper price!). The white filter doesn't have the fine mesh that helps dust being sucked right in to the filter, so whether that reduces the longevity of the filter (assuming you're not being governed by the Dyson telling you to spend more cash) remains to be seen. Pain in the backside fitting but reading the reviews and seeing the advice .. Don't put the white filters into the plastic casing first, rather put them in and put plastic casing on after is very sensible advice. I'm not sure if the wihte filters, or the carbon filters are more curved that they should be .. so I did slight flex the carbon filters so I could eventually squash it all in and get the white filters to clip in place ..It's a fine art! so have 30 mins handy. Once all in, seems to be fine and haven't yet been hit in the face by a flying plastic cover .. so that's good news.

**Q: Has anyone fitted this into a HP04?**
A: YEs I use it in my HP04 works well. Just remember the hp04 doesn’t have a carbon rest in settings so just rest the main filter (it’s designed for the all in 1 filter). Second the carbon filter is a very snug fit so will often need a spoon to lever it off when finished unless you have very strong fingers. The main hepa filter is exactly same fit

I bought this as a replacement for our Dyson Pure Cool, and it fit perfectly. Installing it was simple and straightforward. Much cheaper and with some of these fans coming to end of life being replaced by Dyson, it's harder to find genuine filters even if you're willing to spend extra so coming across these have really been a help. NOTE: Don't be alarmed if you insert these filters into your unit and you still get a 'replace filter error'. You actually need to 'reset' the device so it recalibrates itself. You can refer to your manual for instructions on that because even the genuine filters require this procedure. For me I had to hold the Moon button on the remote for a few seconds it'll tell you on the little screen when it's done, you'll also need to do it again but this time holding the button with the two pointing arrows (oscillate) to reset it too I think it resets both calibrations for HEPA and carbon when doing both buttons.
