The fact that these skillets contain no harmful chemicals is a huge selling feature and for the price, I find them to be just as durable and well made as skillets 2-3 times the price. The Ozeri lid fits other 10" pans and with a bit of measurement, you can get a clue as to whether it will fit, but it fits the 10" Greenspan pretty well! **Q: Does the handle get hot when used on the stovetop?** A: No. The handle does not get hot on the stovetop. So far, we love this pan, but we've only used it a dozen times or so. **Q: What is the meaning of each of the symbols on the back of the pan?** A: This is cook top compatability symbols. I think it is safe to assume all the ‘great’ reviews are written based upon the first month of use. Glad we didn’t do that. OUR experience was great too. Then like everyone else, we experienced the same issues. These ‘Greenspan’s’ are GARBAGE at the six month marker- we NEVER cook at anything hotter than medium. We’ve NEVER put in the dishwasher, or scrubbed with anything remotely harsh. Just a soft sponge. The two pans we bought ended the same way. They ‘look’ brand new, zero scratches.
