The gameplay is great, the level designs, while linear, do offer some room to explore and look for hidden collectables. As you play, you can shift between two realities, a dream world and a nightmare world. Your moves, and the behavior of some enemies change depending on which reality you're in. It's a cool idea, although there's places where you're forced to constantly change back and forth, so it can get annoying at times.The graphics are GORGEOUS! There is so much detail and vibrant colors. If you enjoy fairytale fantasy worlds, you'll love the look of this game. The music is also quite good. One rather disappointing thing is the game at time suffered serious frame rate drops. It's only occasionally, but I don't understand why there's a problem running a 2D game on the Wii U.I've heard people complain this game is too hard. I can't say too much because I haven't finished it yet, but I'm pretty far in. It's definitely challenging. But I don't consider myself a super-skilled player, yet I've only gotten frustrated enough to make finishing a level feel rewarding. Disk was unharmed and the game plays fine.
