It has been life saving and saved me from surgery I think the Shock Dr TFCC brace and it was TOO firm along the ulnar side. Creating function again requires the allowance of some movement. My arm and fingers began to hurt after a while of doing activities since my wrist had actual support now and they had to overwork, but after a week they got better. The widget IS made of the same velcro material that cable wraps are but its much thicker. The side that goes on your wrist is tough and scratchy and theres no good reason why it shouldn't be more comfortable.
