Review: Best toning shampoo to combat brassy hair. - This is by far my favorite toning shampoo. It smells nice, leaves your hair soft and smooth and definitely reduces the yellow tones of fading hair color. I leave it on for about 5 minutes, a little longer than the directions say, but that works best for me. It’s very effective. It doesn’t leave the ends of my hair purple either, so it rinses clean. It’s a very deep purple so it can stain white towels and if any spills on my light gray tile shower I clean it up quickly. That being said I’ve missed a few drops, and it sat for hours but didn’t stain the tile. I won’t use anything else. Seems pricey but it really is worth it. The bottle lasts a long time and you don’t need to use it daily, so that makes it a better value than you initially realize.

This is by far my favorite toning shampoo. It smells nice, leaves your hair soft and smooth and definitely reduces the yellow tones of fading hair color. I leave it on for about 5 minutes, a little longer than the directions say, but that works best for me. It’s very effective. It doesn’t leave the ends of my hair purple either, so it rinses clean. It’s a very deep purple so it can stain white towels and if any spills on my light gray tile shower I clean it up quickly. That being said I’ve missed a few drops, and it sat for hours but didn’t stain the tile. I won’t use anything else. Seems pricey but it really is worth it. I enjoyed the texture and some tone on my white hair. I was a tiny bit disappointed that there was not more of a whitening outcome. Better than regular but not sure it was worth the money. Would recommend, the shampoo performed just not the way I hope.
