The short story is the visuals are great, the black levels are close to the best I've seen, and the sound is actually better than my BOSE sound bar.But what really matters on a TV these days is the operating system. I have owned Smart TVs from other brands, and have tried countless others at friends' houses and in stores. Most of them are terrible.First of all, this isn't Android TV, and that is a plus in my mind. Samsung have used their own platform called Tizen OS. Without getting too technical, it's a custom Linux based operating system which doesn't have all the bloat associated with other Smart TV software.In short, it runs lightning fast, is very responsive, and doesn't crash! I've been using daily or four months now, and have been very happy. What's more all the apps I use are available, which I couldn't says about any of the other Smart TVs that I have owned. BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and even Plex. All available and all run natively at full speed without issues.Samsung, don't change anything!
