I am giving it five stars because most people don't mind putting white stuff on a baby if it's going to protect them, and THIS COMPANY'S PRODUCTS ARE GREAT!!! Among other ingredients in this are lemongrass and cedar, and both of these are very effective at repelling mosquitoes and other biting insects. So not only are you protecting your baby from the sun's harmful rays, you are protecting him or her from getting bitten! I lived in Central America and I was constantly getting bitten and had to start using the stuff with DEET in it because I had scabs and welts all over me. Then I tried some California Baby lotion that wasn't even specifically for repelling insects, and it worked AS WELL AS THE DEET!!!!
