I have an old out of date dishwasher that is prone to not clean and rinse well with this detergent not only did it take away food particles and debris. It works well with my old dishwasher. Review: Why buy pods? - I don't know why I ever started buying pods. Did you know that pods actually do not go in the dishwashing detergent compartment? They are to be thrown in the dishwasher at the bottom. Regardless, You are not getting a better clean out of a pod and you are actually getting less product per wash for more money! This detergent cleans well and takes the same amount of effort and time as a pod, to add to the dishwasher. It also cleans really great and smells great.
