Review: Great alternative to a traditional box spring - Just what I needed! I didn’t want to pay 250 From the local mattress store for a low profile box spring so I decided to give this a try. A great alternative. Seems sturdy and was very easy to put together. Everything snaps in and it’s so intuitive you don’t really need directions. One of the corners was bent up so it gave us some trouble fitting in one piece but my husband was able to take the back of a hammer and straighten it out, otherwise I would have had to get an exchange. I would recommend.

I also had no issues with the cover. It is meant to be snug. As of now, I'm giving it five stars, but may adjust as needed later. The only thing concerning to me are the hinged joints on the side rails. While there are only two, they are definitely the weak point. If they don't fail, this will be a great find.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to assemble, great value

I have probably assembled 4 or 5 of these box springs in the past and this one was, by far, the easiest to assemble. There is one center piece that unfolds into an “I” shape, and then you attach 2 side pieces. Very easy and intuitive and they lock into the other pieces with just slight force to insert. Then you attach the 10 cross pieces in the same manner by just snapping them into the outer frame. Once the frame is built, you secure it with 4 screws, one in each corner. Then it’s time to put on the fabric cover which fully encases the box spring frame. Wrestling that onto a king frame and then getting it zipped all the way around was the most challenging part of this assembly. I’m sure it would have been easier with 2 people and if I build another king frame, I’ll unzip the cover and build the frame on top of it as I think that would make this go more smoothly. The box spring feels sturdy and this 5” elevation was perfect to raise my mattress to a comfortable level. I’d absolutely purchase this box spring again.
