I bought this and the garden mint in preparation for BBQ weather. I put this on chicken at the weekend and then BBQ'd it. I was a little concerned at first as it was very pink and not the red that I expected, but I sprinkled it on the chicken and left it to marinade, with moisture it turned red as expected. I did not add any moisture ie; olive oil / water to make it into a paste, I sprinkled the powder on as directed on the pack and left to marinade. This was so good and tasted exactly like the chinese chicken you get from the butchers, I am definitely going to be buying this regularly!
