Was getting annoyed about my ears getting bent or irritated & this is a perfect solution.The stretch is not huge (you'll be able to wear most masks around your neck, but not as a necklace), but that's not the purpose. These straps are very easy to hook on to the mask & place them at your preferred height w/o bending your ears & keeping the mask firmly in place (the ONLY way they're effective). It's also easy to move your mask on & off your nose/mouth by touching only the front.
