Finally replaced them taking less than 10 mins to replace both struts. A lot of good online videos to demonstrate how to replace. They work great, no issues. Review: These fit my 2008 Corvette perfectly. Fixed the issue I had. - My hood would close on its own unless I was on a flat surface before I got these. I installed them in about 15 minutes. Probably spent 10 minutes doing the first one and less than 5 minutes doing the second one. Now my hood opens aggressively. (not overly aggressively though) It stays up even on my steep driveway. The hood flexes just a little when I close it. No big deal. The price was wonderful. The parts work very well.
