Or does it have additives i want to use it for my carnivorous plants** A: It is pure Sphagnum. In the package I received I didn't see impurities (sticks, weeds, etc.). There is nothing added. It is ideal for carnivorous plants. **Q: Do you use this in place of bark or coconut fiber with orchids?** A: yes, some orchids prefer it.
