It does contain SLS and parabens, as well as natural extracts and oils. It definitely does not fit into a "natural" category, if you only use organic and chemical-free body products. I am Russian and use a lot of Grandma Agafia products, as well as other Russian cosmetic brands, mostly for their pleasant aromas.This shampoo gave my short and fine hair some additional volume, but did not provide enough moisture, in fact I found it rather drying. I did not find a matching burdock conditioner, so ordered it separately from another seller. The bottle is large, but cheaply manufactured -- it needs a plastic ring squeezing mechanism, which would make dispensing more convenient. The shampoo is transparent green in color, but fairly dense, and comes out in globs. Overall, it is just ok, I do love how it smells, however -- hay, grass, green leaves -- it's somehow calming and uplifting at the same time. I would recommend other products, particularly the "volume and fluffiness no. 4" shampoo and conditioner series, and especially body soaps in round jars. All of Grandma Agafia products smell really, really great.Delivery was fast, and my shampoo arrived safely packaged. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good shampoo, but no birch fragrance *by S***3 on Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2014* If you're after birch fragrance, like I was, it's not here. However, this is a good simple shampoo that really seems to treat my hair wonderfully. It's a huge bottle and it will last nearly forever. It's old school. The cap still screws off-- no turning upside down quickly to squirt it. I suspect it's got mostly natural ingredients... but I can't read Russian so I don't know. I didn't have high expectations for it because Russian shampoos I've tried in the past were pretty mediocre or worse. But I liked the label, it was only six bucks, I was almost out of shampoo and this was going to save me a trip to the store... I was really surprised when I used it - it has a great fragrance, makes a lot of lather, and it really does makes my hair smooth and shiny and somehow adds noticeable volume. My hair stylist even asked me when I had gotten a keratin treatment! For the record, I have long, fine, very straight hair and this is one of the few shampoos that consistently give it volume. And I love how my hair smells even hours after it's dry, not strong, but really fresh.
